Sonoma County is a fairly large northern California County whose southern terminus reaches San Francisco Bay. It is a rich agricultural region with extensive vineyards and tree crops. Along its western edge are the frequently foggy rugged coastal bluffs and the calm waters of Bodega Bay and the mouth of the Russian River. It maintains extensive Redwood and Douglas Fir forests near the coast and inland are grassy woodlands and oak forests. It also houses one moderately large city (Santa Rosa) and numerous smaller towns. This list includes all of the plants, animals, and other wildlife I have photographically documented in Sonoma County.
