I was not able to go to the trail as planned because of personal reasons but I did find what I think it’s a scarab at one of the places I went to run errands this week. It was fun to find species like this since I’ve never seen one.

For this week I planned on going to a trail in halfmoon bay and see if I can find more extraordinary species for this project.

I did not go out to specific parks this week, but I reviewed my own observations and I think I’ve learned to be more curious about what happens around us when it comes to nature.

This week I posted some photos I had from the past week and made sure they were reviewed by I narutalists. The photos I posted are from a plant I found walking around csm.

For this week I did not go out, though I checked if my observations were reviewed by Inaturalists and received some photos I got while I was outside running errands.

I went to great america yesterday with my friend and while we were eating sitting on the grass we saw a common earthworm. At first we didn't know what it was or to what species population it belonged to but an Inaturalist helped me find out what it was exactly.

I did not go to any parks this week but I have looked at Inaturalist places I can go to and species I can find so the process of going out and walking around places is easier.

For this week, I researched new places I could go to and discover new species. I even downloaded an app that tells me the rails near me and what species I could find there, the app is called AllTrails. I also plan on posting some photos I have taken for the past week.

For this week, after going on a fun hike with my family last weekend; I checked Inaturalists who reviewed my observations and some of them did confirm that my observations were right. I planned on going to a different park this week, though I’m not so sure because I have more assignments for other classes. I will try to at least post a couple observations.

For this week I planned on going on a hike with my dad and exploring whatever we could find on our way. We only found some plants since it was more of a forest environment, yet we were told there were animals but we didn’t find any because it was raining and we assumed that they were hiding. I thought of going to a different park but it was too late for it. I liked how this project is not only making me learn how to explore and enjoy our nature but also to spend more time with the people around me like my family and friends. I had a great time with my dad and we are even planning on going on a hike again.
