Variolipallium cerebroides shell? We see plenty of Variolipallium cerebroides in the harbour but I don't know what the shell looks like, the other suggestion was Lamellaria ophione but I don't think we get them down here?
@zetela Hi Kerry would love your input, I counted about 4 of these shells and there are plenty of the snails about breeding at the moment.
Freshwater snail.
Quite a few of these living in a stock water trough.
They were clustered in groups around the water line.
Haven't seen these at Travis before.
Around 10mm long.
Shell size 6-7 c/m across
Found in alpine/montane area
Shell was flimsy and thin
