I know there at least a pair in the area, but this is the closest I’ve seen one. Was busy munching on a squirrel. Cautiously allowed me to get within 6-8 feet before flapping up to a nearby roof.

4th instar nymph. I knew this invasive was becoming a problem in PA, but I had only found isolated individuals. I saw dozens of these at this location, Marsh Creek State Park.
