Naturenut helped some kids with a rubber worm for fishing and he no sooner tossed it in and caught this bad boy. Then released it.

still waiting for one of these guys this year to sit out on an open branch for more than one second but at least it did show a little of its red head

I continue on my quest to get a good shot of the crown of the Ruby-crowned Kinglet. Maybe next time... Barely shows in this photo, had some where it really showed but were way out of focus.

had a little chance to focus on this kinglet, can see a slight ruby color on the top of its head

finally got to see the "ruby" crown of this bird, unfortunately it surprised me and I was not ready to take the picture

Around dusk the entire sky came to life and we saw about 25 or more, flying above our home and a few neighbors homes by us.
