At Langwarren Nature Reserve, in native grasses in semi open ground. Fine Sunny & temp=approx 25C. Fast moving and wings always folded when it landed. I was unable to observe the top of the wings. I'm thinking Klug's Xenica based on this picture it's size, and the location, but I have very little confidence that I have this identified correctly.
There were a number of these that appeared on the leaves of Dianella Brevieaulie (small flowered flax-lilly). They then dispersed and attached theselves to veritcal surfaces that are mostly sheltered from above and all face south. Possibly Saunders Case moth but I am waiting for one to emerge to confirm.
