Actually Plethodon pauleyi (yellow-spotted woodland salamander)
On the side of the Erie Trail. This one's missing the end of its tail.
This lizard is from a disjunct population at the extreme Northeastern limit of its range.
The unbelievable amelanistic individual was found by Eli Bieri. Just about the coolest thing I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. No surprise that this has become my most favorited observation
