beautiful beetle but I couldn't find a species match from existing photos - unknown host plant at this stage but probably Amaranthaceae : Camphorosmeae

Pflanze am Wegrand, voll mit ca. 1cm langen Käfern.
Dead specimen in collection. Date of occurence unknown. Most likely an escaped food animal

Larva found inside a rotting rambutan (Nephelium lappaceum) fruit, burrowed inside the seed after it finished eating, then pupated just next to the hollow seed.
